The netblock owner of one or more of our IP subnets is requiring us to renumber the IP range in Virginia data center (EAST location). We do everything we can to avoid this kind of change - we source addresses from our own allocations, ISP leases and IP-broker leases with long-term commitments precisely so that we are never dependent on one provider - but in this case we had no choice. The replacement addresses come from a range with a long-term commitment (2026-2036), so this will not happen again with any server in Virginia data center. We except brief 30-minute downtime during IP relocation window (~4 hour maintenance window: 11/11/2026 11 AM - 3 PM EST). MX record IP will change and need to be propagated (~1 week), some providers may refuse email from unknown IP. We're currently registering MX IP across all known providers to minimize possible bounce-backs.
