TIGER-NYC server became obsolete (operating system, cPanel and hardware) and will be upgraded between 12/26/2024 and 12/30/2024. New Dell server has 384 GB of RAM, NVMe SSD disks from Samsung (data center edition) and dual Intel Gold processors. Server will be loaded with new CloudLinux 9.5.x OS and new cPanel 124.x. We'll move cPanel accounts in live mode, in other words, we do not expect any downtime. Both servers will be active during maintenance window. We'll disconnect TIGER-NYC server 12/31/2024. New server ID will be BUFFALO.
Known issues after account transfer:
Email may bounce due to lack of IP reputation. It takes at least 2-3 days to propagate. Once it propagate, we have to register email server IP with Microsoft, Apple and AT&T. If you experience any issues with email deliverability, please do let us know via Help Center.
Website may display "internal server error" or "500 error". If you see such error, it indicates that script, template or plugins are not compatible with new PHP 8.1 (default PHP 8.1). To fix that issue, please login to cPanel > type "PHP" in search window above > MultiPHP > Select version below 8.1, for example, PHP 7.4 then click "apply". Wait for 15 seconds then check website. If it still displays "500 internal server error", please go back to cPanel then select version below PHP 7.4, for example, 5.6. Please note: PHP 5.x and PHP 7.x have been depreciated and should NOT be used. Your website may compromise if you use old PHP version, scripts and template. Please upgrade ASAP and then keep all scripts up to date.
